Our mission is to create a vibrant, inclusive, and supportive community for women in Padova, both Italian and international. We connect newcomers and long-time residents through friendship, cultural exchange, and shared experiences; offer guidance to ease the transition into life in Italy; and give back to the community through acts of generosity.

Rooted in friendliness, cultural curiosity, and mutual support, the group offers a circle of companions through coffees, cultural outings, exhibitions, day trips, and special-interest subgroups.

We know moving to a new city or country can feel overwhelming. We support one another through the practical challenges of Italian life, from understanding bureaucracy to navigating local customs.

While many of our gatherings are open to the wider community, our member-only activities offer deeper engagement and a richer experience of connection.
Our Story
In 2002, a few women decided to organise get-togethers to make new friends and exchange advice on settling into life in and around Padova. Since then, the group has grown steadily in both numbers and the variety of activities on offer.
Today, we regularly organise morning coffees, luncheons, sightseeing, and gatherings, alongside numerous special-interest groups. The International Ladies Group of Padova welcomes any woman, of any nationality, interested in meeting new people and trying new things. Our shared language is English, to make communication easy for everyone.
With over twenty years of community-building, the International Ladies of Padova remains a lively, non-profit organisation dedicated to making Padova feel like home.
In June 2019, we formally filed our constitution. Through connection, culture, and charitable giving, we enrich the lives of our members and contribute to the wider community.
