These are our three annual milestones, the events that mark the rhythm of our group's year.A welcoming, wide-ranging set of monthly and occasional groups, something for every interest, schedule, and mood.
Events
Annual Assembly and Welcome Coffee
Held once a year at the start of our group's year, this open-air coffee gathering combines a warm welcome for new and returning members with our Annual Members' Assembly. It's a chance to reconnect after the summer break, meet the steering committee, and take part in steering committee elections when applicable.
During this gathering, the past year's financial report is approved, which is a standard requirement for our type of non-profit. Coffee and cake are provided. This event marks the start of the membership year, and attendance is reserved for paid members.
Christmas Luncheon
A festive end-of-year lunch celebrating the season together before the holidays. Members enjoy a multi-course meal at a local restaurant, complete with wine and coffee, and are invited to bring a small Secret Santa gift to exchange.
The lunch is partly subsidized by the group and reserved for paid members, with a fixed cost per person covering the meal. Spots are limited, so early confirmation is encouraged.
Year-End Summer Party
Held each June to mark the close of our group's year, the Year-End Summer Party is generously hosted in a member's home and brings the whole group together — members, singles, or partners alike — for an evening of dancing, food, and farewells to any Ladies leaving Padova for the summer. Each year has its own creative theme, such as a Flower Party, By the Sea, or a Great Gatsby evening, with members dressing up and the food either catered or brought potluck-style, depending on the year. It's a joyful, dress-up night under the stars to celebrate the year together.
